Action Sports are getting hugely popular these days. With some of these sports, you could just practise them in front of your doorstep all year round, regardless of rain or temperature and the need to travel to find new playgrounds is not required.

You could undergo such a surfing holiday as a beginner going to a gentle warm beach break with your family playing by the hotel’s pool while you are getting started on the waves, experience a surfing holiday clinics for intermediate riders, starting to feel the power of the reefs and practise those manoeuvres you always dreamt of achieving.
Last but not least there are surfing holidays organised around a boat trip, taking you to the best breaks in the surroundings, living onboard and often ride totally uncrowned dream waves, this has become hugely popular in Indonesia.
Obviously this is for advanced riders!
Also, there are surfing holidays that will send you to an inclusive resort, only built for the purpose of surfing holidays. The reef is semi private, only the customers of the resort can surf it, this is allowed in the Fiji’s and the Maldives for example where government permits a lease on specific islands and on its surrounding reefs!
